AMD released latest version AMD Catalyst Application Profiles 12.1 CAP 2,the new AMD CrossFireX profiles are delivered in the same executable package form, offering complete control over your software.
This release of ATI Catalyst delivers support for the latest ATI CrossFireX profiles in a separate executable file ensuring users have access to the absolute latest set of profiles installed on their PC. It also fixes any bugs that exist with current optimizations. 12.1 CAP 2 includes profiles for the following applications:
- Star Wars: The old republic : Improves CrossFire performance and resolves flickering seen on Map
- Unigine Tropics – Resolves flashing shadow reflections with CrossFire enabled
- Wargame: European Escalation: Improves CrossFire performance
As expected, AMD has released CAP 2 and we can expect CAP 3 before the end of the month.
